Who is Preservation, Inc.?

Preservation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization led by Tony Libri, working tirelessly to restore historic structures and breathe new life into once-abandoned spaces. Their mission is:

"To strengthen our community by restoring structures of significance and using those facilities to enhance learning and social opportunities for future generations."

The History of the Ursuline Conservatory

The historic Conservatory on the former Ursuline Academy campus holds decades of stories—once a thriving center for music, education, and community gatherings, it served as:

• A concert hall and music school for students

• A home for students and Ursuline nuns

• A space for performances and cultural events

When Ursuline Academy closed, the Conservatory sat empty for over a decade. Now, thanks to the vision and dedication of Preservation, Inc., the campus is coming back to life—stained glass windows, balconies, and historic halls are being restored to their former glory.
